We created a Pinterest board and got to work on some of the main ideas. Crazy things happen in both Alice in Wonderland movies so we took inspiration from both. Justin cut down some pallet boards for me, that I painted and stenciled. And then screwed to a sign post and put in the yard
Every year some type of shot luge is included in the party. The past few years have been ice sculpture type things for "Fire & Ice" and "Mask Me - Masquerade" we decided a collection of tea pots/ tea cups would work better with the theme. They were a little difficult to find, but once we did, Kat and I figured out a layout, glued together and then Justin was the brains behind the rest of it. Because 1 shot isn't that much liquid, he ended up using a plastic tube.
I painted the golf scene...because it didn't seem appropriate, and cured it in the oven. The below happen and I almost cried when I pulled it out. Kat claims the bubbles made it look more like the theme. I think she was just trying to make me feel better.
The end result. Turned out AWESOME!
We wanted to have Mad Hatter Hats and to use for the photo booth! They were kind of a pain and we only made 3 out of a CARDBOARD BOX!!
I would suggest buying an actual hat if you're going to wear it :)
Tape, hot glue, and fabric. And lots of patience by all
We were able to use one as a table centerpiece, looks like I didn't get a picture of the 3rd one...
Stay tuned for more :)
